MANAGEMENT OF CANCER IN COUNTRIES WITH LIMITED RESOURCES - 4th International Symposium and Think Tank Meeting

on 14th & 15th May, 2011 at SKICC, Srinagar and GULMARG

Management of cancer in developing countries does not receive due attention for different reasons, including lack of facilities and funds. As a result, the advances in cancer management which take place elsewhere, rarely find their way into the treatment of patients here.

Oncologists all over the world are developing strategies and protocols to provide best practice with limited resources’ to improve the chances of survival of cancer patients in developing countries. As our contribution to this international effort, we have been conducting the above symposium on a regular basis, in collaboration with major cancer care institutions and organizations from across the subcontinent.

The next symposium, scheduled for the 14th and 15th of May, 2011 will bring together cancer experts at both the national and international level to discuss and deliberate on the issues confronting cancer care in developing countries and their possible solutions.

We invite you to be a part of this landmark event.
